Is it going to hurt?

Yes. Tattoos tend to hurt and you will feel some discomfort, but you will survive and live to tell the tale.

What should I do to prepare for this appointment?

  • It is important to eat at least 2 hours prior your appointment.

  • Bring your preferred snacks/beverage, but the shop also provides a wide range of snacks and beverages.

  • Wear comfortable and appropriate clothes for your appointment. (Is the tattoo going on your thigh? Wear some comfy shorts instead of jeans.:D)

Am I allowed to bring someone with me during my appointment?

Yes, absolutely. Due to COVID-19, you are only allowed to bring one other person with you.

How much do you charge per hour?

The shop charges a minimum of $80.00 and I charge $150/hour starting January 2023.

How do I book an appointment?

  • The contact sheet on this site or through my email art.by.nixiepixie@gmail.com.

  • When booking an appointment, please make sure to include the following information:

    • Full name and best contact number

    • Concept/Design/What you are looking to get (Be as descriptive as possible. The more I understand what you have in mind, the better)

    • Part of the body the piece is going on (If around other tattoos or is a cover up, please provide photos)

    • Will this piece be in color or Black and Gray?

    • Attach reference photos

    • Availability (dates, days, time frames you are usually available)

  • I prefer no DMs on social media, thank you.

Cancellations:

  • A reschedule or a cancellation should be done at least 48 hours prior your appointment in order for the deposit to be honored.

  • Deposits will be honored for the first reschedule. Any reschedules after will require a new $80.00 deposit.

  • No call/No shows may not be able to get a future appointment.

Do I need a deposit to book an appointment?

  • Yes indeed. The last step of the booking process is putting down a deposit. The shop requires a non-refundable $80.00 deposit. This holds your spot and we deduct this amount off of your total at the end of your appointment or rolled over to your next appointment for ongoing pieces.

  • For pieces that are NOT a set design(as is), I require a non-refundable $100.00 drawing fee. This will NOT be applied to anything else BUT my drawing time.

  • No appointment is solidified until deposits are made.

How do I make a deposit?

There are a few ways to leave a deposit:

  • Call the shop and give your card information over the phone.

  • Stop by during shop hours T-F 12:00-8:00 and S 12:00-5:30.

  • Venmo and PayPal

How much are the commissioned portraits?

- Hand-drawn portraits range from $200-$250. Depending on how many heads/detail you want in it.

  • Digital pieces range from $150-$200.
